Conventional cable glands need one hole per wire while the KDP only needs one for the cable assembly. It is possible to install them only by pushing it and the self-locking clips hook onto the panel or by using a nut to secure them in place. In addition to saving on drilling you save on the installation of your cables because you only have to push on your cable to obtain an Ip65 seal and no dismantling of parts for installation.
