Bonitron have a new approach to dealing with undervoltage problems with AC drive. They have developed a system that plugs into the DC BUS and uses super capacitors or a battery bank to store the energy needed to ignore voltage variation or power interruption that cause the drives under voltage trip.
The system can support full voltage losses of a few cycles to 15 minutes without loss of torque, time to finish your precious pieces, without breaking tools, park the head of the machine and simply continue to Produce.
